Very true. Thanks for the reminder, Hope. I have been reading Mind Character and Personality vol 1 for worship, and tonight this is the first quote I read.
"The beginning of yielding to temptation is in the sin of permitting the mind to waver, to be inconsistant in your trust in God... (the wicked one will tempt us - paraphrase)..., but it is for you to hold every emotion and passion under control, in calm subjection to reason and conscience. Then Satan loses his power to control the mind." RH 5/14/1892.

This can be really difficult when fatigue is high and feelings are running wild, but it is a very important thing to learn to maintain especially under extreme circumstances.
